Strong showings in both FC and OD, as well as the Cup. Relegated straight back to Div V in BT20, did well to not finish last!

Gholam Kamal earned a spot in the BD U19 side, captaining them on occasion with distinction. Young pacer Mazharul Abedin was recruited from the Academy. Suhrawadi Alam went from strength to strength, Nurul Ali and Saiful Hom continued to develop well.

Well shit got real for the Lions this season after mainly facing bot teams actually had some human opponents

A tough time for Jo'Burg, who won the bash but were relegated in the more important versions.

A team who lacked depth at best were in the mire with 2 U19 call ups. Next season things should improve greatly.

Plettenberg Irons are celebrating a breakthrough moment after all-rounder Aidan Hargreaves made his debut for the West Indies U19s, featuring in both matches against Papua New Guinea and leaving a strong early impression.

The left-arm medium pacer delivered with the ball, returning figures of 1–41 and 2–66, showing control and composure across both games.

Hargreaves underlined his all-round value in Monday’s match, producing a blistering 39* from 35 balls to steer his side towards what would be a winning total.

His selection was no surprise to Irons supporters, with club manager DaveyCricket - also the West Indies U19 manager - identifying Hargreaves as a key part of the national setup.

Now back with Plettenberg, Hargreaves is set to be rested until the U19s face Pakistan in February.

The Benchwarmers’ season got a much-needed jolt of electricity with the arrival of new recruit Lenny Nugent, drafted in to fix the team’s lacklustre start. Nugent wasted no time making an impact, tearing through the opposition with figures of 7–10 from just 3 overs. His 150k thunderbolts had batsmen dancing around the crease like a cat on a hot tin roof, unsure whether to play, pray, or get out of the way. It was pace, power and panic in equal measure, and exactly the spark the Benchwarmers needed to announce their season has well and truly begun.

All eyes now turn to the England u19 fixture over the weekend to see if WK / Batsman Lovell gets his debut

Today we bowled out AddoCC for 0 in a FC match. Dotaani finished with match figures of ten wickets for one run.

This is a sign of things to come as we press forward to rise up the pyramid

After two seasons in the doldrums, after financial turmoil and forced sale of the entire 1st XI, Brads Bazookas rebuilt quickly in the offseason, with trainees ripening into quality players, and low transfer prices filling the rest of the squad quicker than expected. The new look Bazookas squad came a creditable 3rd in a strong Div 3 FC league, whilst winning both OD and BT20 Div 3 leagues. With £10mill still in the bank, further purchases can be made to now push up the leagues.

Nurul Ali and the two Gholams (Ahmed and Kamal) had good seasons, while Sharif and Hom made steady improvements.

The Bats survived relegation in 2 versions but went down in the bash.
4th in FC II with a 5-4 standing.
5th in OD II, (6-8) comfortably winning a relegation playoff.
10th in T20 III with a poor 3-8 mark.

In the FC, Dugdale 979 at 81.58 and Zoutewelle 955 at 79.58 performed admirably.
With the ball, Amollo 29 wks at 11.17 and Roopnarine 39 wks at 12.82 bowled well.

In the OD, Max Wijck 728 at 56.00 shone. Zoutewelle 663 at 55.25 not far behind.
Myall took 25 wickets at 22.88, Amollo taking 25 wks at 23.96 for a solid season.

Daniel Amollo chipped in with another 5 wickets in the bash and won the club POTY Award.

The Legion held their Season 66 awards ceremony last night to recognize a strong season for the club and for the players. Legion finished 1st in their FC division, 3rd in their OD division, and 4th in their BT20 division. They made it to round 4 in the SA Cup.

At the start of the final round of SA FC IV.7, there were 3 teams vying for top spot of the table. All 3 had looked strong throughout the season and it came down to who could come away dealing with the pressure the best. The unbeaten Paranoid XI needed to rely on a win by them and a very low-scoring draw in the Legion/Bujin Bandicoots match to top the table. That wasn't to be as Legion were able to take advantage of a Bujin team also needing to push for victory for a chance at the winner's medal. Legion won their last match by 8 wickets and took maximum points to earn an unexpected league victory. Paranoid XI may look at the draw in round 9 as the difference between league victory and promotion, and a silver medal. All in all, a fantastic end to the league season for all 3 teams.
