We have emigrated (again!) and it's to South Africa this time.

Sold off almost all our best players and reinvested in youth but the cost of moving was great. £4.6m plus almost 1,000 members.
And although there have been further reductions in membership in the opening weeks of the season, these numbers are narrowing (17 > 15 > 13). Within a couple of seasons we should be able to turn it around.

After considering their future over the past couple of season Charscot Reserves have made the decision to move to Kenya for next season.

It is hoped the change in challenge will give fresh impetus to a club that has been treading water for a few seasons now.

The club has sold most of the squad knowing the likelihood is a season or two playing bots and more sales will take place early next season.

It has been a pleasure and honour to play in the West Indies and we are looking forward to joining a Kenyan league that has already been very welcoming.

After a season expecting a playoff battle Ton Up somehow managed to sneak into the auto promotion spots and now finds themselves back in Div I for the new season.

Was a great effort by the lads and to reward the stars who performed so well in getting the team back to the top table

Unfortunately the kindly bank managers have now decided enough is enough and after playing around with there spreadsheets have deemed the club to be cashless and must embark on a selling spree to survive :-(

Oh well at least the team can look forward to at least 1 victory this season as we have drawn a bot at home in Rd 1 of the cup #lookingforthepositives

Well can i just say, its been my ambition to Top the Afghanistan Premier League and now i have done it i can try to end the season in 4th/5th place :)

After leaving the club in the hands of my assistant the boys have been constant but they've become soft. I have got in some from armed bowler and some of the younger lads have stepped up. I have also implemented a strength and conditioning regime that the French Foreign Legion would be happy with. Pull ups for breakfast, pull ups for dinner and to finish the day some pull ups. Looking for promotion this season and a strong showing in our friendly league. Keep an eye out for my boys, their looking strong.

The Afghanistan national cricket team is expecting to play series of matches against one of the world’s top games next year, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has said.
According to ACB, an agreement has reached between West Indies and Afghanistan Cricket Boards to play 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is in June, 2017 in West Indies. This will be the first time that two dynamic and entertaining sides of the Cricketing World face each other in a full series.

The bowling was as usual lead by Moses with 39 wickets @ 5.7, with notable contributions from the old stagers Bayley (24 @ 10.5) and Ramamani (26 @ 11.5) whom both are contemplating retirement from playing.

Wow, we can't stop winning. All be it against bot teams, but we will take that. Team moral is high and its all down to the change in training and organisation that new head coach and owner Luggo has brought to the club. His strict approach to only selecting starting batsmen that have had at least 4 pints of Doombar in the warm up is paying off. The team outings to the local wake boarding centre has built a solid team cohesion. Training is physical with Luggo only allowing the boys to order the "hottest" curries on a night out, stamina has increased.

Since the take over and a restructure the Fishermen on tour have won very game. The innovative coaching style and not holds tactics have energised the team. We are chasing for the top spots in both our leagues, is there enough time to make amens for the "pre" Luggo poor start? It's going to be close. The Fishermen are reeling you in! You bait-er believe it!

We are pleased to announce that Billionaire playboy Luggo has finalised a deal to purchase the Watamu Oaks. He has made this his franchise team and made the brave move of changing their name to "Fishermen on tour". This is to reflect the success of this main team Fishermens 1st XI.

BRENDO - I don't know if you follow Battrick closely, but there's a team, and a manager of his time called Gunny. We've been following him closely, and he's always had a team of hacks, nobody's and bums. He's also been able to make that side win a game or two. So we're trying to use that model, but with the usual Baxter twist.

PRESS - The Baxter Twist? What's that?
