Wilson's Wonders have secured their spot back in the top division of Scottish cricket after 14 seasons away.

Three and a half years ago, club owner Lee Wilson made a strategic decision to train up 11 players that would eventually grow and prosper into star performers with bat and ball. All 11 of today's starting lineup were purchased when they were seventeen and have been trained by the club's staff.

With plenty of training still to be had, the next challenge will be trying to survive with some fearsome teams in division one. However, club manager Wilson hopes that this is just the start of the Wonders featuring regularly at the highest level.

With 2 games to go in the season, the Shetland Warriors are in a battle to avoid the wooden spoon in our first season in Div 2.

A match against sixth placed Blue Socks before a bottom of the table clash against Dinos on tour will determine who ends up with the wooden spoon.

Despite the losses, moral and confidence in the team has never wavered, with coach Sachin stating that it was always going to be a struggle to stay in Div 2 and while we're likely to be going down, 2 wins from 2 could see the team face a playoff to stay in the division, so ultimately proud of the team to be here and compete week in and week out..

East Fife Raiders sold on Scots batter Broden Cairns for a whopping £1.3 million profit this week, boosting their transfer chest for the coming seasons. "We have a lot of cash in the bank in case we need it, however our priority is producing good youth players in the coming seasons to supplement the home grown talent we already have". The Raiders are coasting to another Division 3 promotion but will no doubt find things harder in Division 2 next season.

4 games, 4 defeats read the Warriors start to life in division 2.

Despite some admiral performances in a couple of games, the team haven't been competitive so far.

The team will be hoping ot turn around the season and avoid the drop back to Div 3.

After relegation back to Scottish League Division 3, the Raiders' only competitive 50 over games this season are in the Scottish Cup. Now in the round of 32, they take on established Division 1 opponents this Sunday, and the Raiders are going to give it their best shot : "We have nothing to lose", said coach Fenners, "we know the quality of our opposition, but with the recent signings we have brought in for the game, we are aiming to give them a decent match. We are in a bot filled league, so this is our one shot at the big boys. We cant wait to get stuck in!". The Raiders have made a number of short term high profile signings in advance of the game, and are hoping that the new lads gel with the rest of the team in time for Sunday....

We are happy to have Henry Devane back in the line up for competitive games, having been called up to the IRE U19 team we were looking to restrict his playing time.

While his form dropped which was sad to see and probably led to less useful performances for the U19, we are proud to have been able to get him there and have him back in the team.

The Raiders' time in Division II was shortlived, with a return to Divison III at the earliest opportunity. "It was probably a better standard than we realised", said coach Fenners, "and our squad is not nearly ready for a challenge like that. We need time to develop the players, so a drop back to Div 3 is probably not a bad thing". Asked about transfer plans, given the recent glut of signings, Fenners was pretty clear, "I don't know who has been going out signing these players, but it wasnt me. Once their contracts are up, they will be shipped out. We want to get back to a fully Scottish XI, made up of our academy graduates and the best young Scottish talent from elsewhere". Elsewhere opener Raeburn has been hitting the heights for the Under 19 team, including a ton in one match.

Camdyn Raeburn has become East Fife Raiders first international, with a call up to the Under 19 squad. In just their third season in existence, the Raiders have progressed up to Division II in Scotland, and now have an international player on their books, with undoubtedly more to follow. "It's justification of our ethos", said coach Fenners, "as we set out 3 seasons ago to be a self-sustaining team, with no transfer signings, and every player being home grown. Raeburn is the first of what will be many internationals that we produce, the conveyor belt of talent is already filling up, and there's many more to come. The future is very exciting indeed". Asked what will be done with the Raiders increasing funds, the club remains tight-lipped, although a one off marquee signing is possible.

Triumphant Critical pick apart falas victeoiria in fastest cup final victory in Scottish history, as Captains McNeill, Dance & Rowe charged the team through 9 rounds toward jointly lifting the club’s first major Scottish trophy.

Following their more challenging SF victory vs Hurst CC, Critical won the toss and fielded again, with the Lanarkshire boys sending victeoiria back to the pavillion after just 13.1 overs, 11.1 faster than last round. Newsome & Rowe took 4 wickets each, before Jolly finished the job. 60-10, Dayasiri and Hadley scored 24, but 20yo proficient WK Klaassen stole the show with 40 runs to seal the trophy.

S66 promised little, just a quiet rebuild as players fought for places in the first 11. After six bleak seasons, CSCC eye future promotions, with a Cup honour in hand.

East Fife Raiders approach their second season in the Scottish set up with renewed confidence, not least given their winning season last year, and being faced with a full compliment of Bot teams this season. "It provides us with a unique opportunity", said coach Fenners, "in that we don't need to spend any money on players, so can boost our funds for the whole season while training up our existing and any new academy products. Its a win-win in that sense, but the fans will have to wait another season to see some more competitive games on a weekly basis". This only leaves the Raiders with the Scottish Cup to challenge themselves against the best in Scotland. "We are going to try and go as far as we can, but obviously we are still a way behind those at the top".

i thought it would be easy then, but i had family competition as well as a few on here

S64 & now S65 make it a fabulous 10

The latest franchise to be added to the Raiders portfolio has this week been set up in Scotland. The Bayview Stadium will host the East Fife Raiders who with coach Fenners at the helm have every ambition of climbing the Scottish league ladder and aiming for the top. "We have been toying with the idea of a Scottish team for a long while", said Fenners, "however we did not want to move either Cork City or the Bins, so when this opportunity came up we jumped at the chance!". Asked as to how the club will operate, the response was pretty clear: "self sustaining, drafting our own talent and developing them over the seasons to have a fully home grown first XI. The ultimate aim is to reach the Scottish Premiership and to win the Cup - you've got to aim big! Up the Fifers!".
