Camdyn Raeburn has become East Fife Raiders first international, with a call up to the Under 19 squad. In just their third season in existence, the Raiders have progressed up to Division II in Scotland, and now have an international player on their books, with undoubtedly more to follow. "It's justification of our ethos", said coach Fenners, "as we set out 3 seasons ago to be a self-sustaining team, with no transfer signings, and every player being home grown. Raeburn is the first of what will be many internationals that we produce, the conveyor belt of talent is already filling up, and there's many more to come. The future is very exciting indeed". Asked what will be done with the Raiders increasing funds, the club remains tight-lipped, although a one off marquee signing is possible.

Following their more challenging SF victory vs Hurst CC, Critical won the toss and fielded again, with the Lanarkshire boys sending victeoiria back to the pavillion after just 13.1 overs, 11.1 faster than last round. Newsome & Rowe took 4 wickets each, before Jolly finished the job. 60-10, Dayasiri and Hadley scored 24, but 20yo proficient WK Klaassen stole the show with 40 runs to seal the trophy.

East Fife Raiders approach their second season in the Scottish set up with renewed confidence, not least given their winning season last year, and being faced with a full compliment of Bot teams this season. "It provides us with a unique opportunity", said coach Fenners, "in that we don't need to spend any money on players, so can boost our funds for the whole season while training up our existing and any new academy products. Its a win-win in that sense, but the fans will have to wait another season to see some more competitive games on a weekly basis". This only leaves the Raiders with the Scottish Cup to challenge themselves against the best in Scotland. "We are going to try and go as far as we can, but obviously we are still a way behind those at the top".

The latest franchise to be added to the Raiders portfolio has this week been set up in Scotland. The Bayview Stadium will host the East Fife Raiders who with coach Fenners at the helm have every ambition of climbing the Scottish league ladder and aiming for the top. "We have been toying with the idea of a Scottish team for a long while", said Fenners, "however we did not want to move either Cork City or the Bins, so when this opportunity came up we jumped at the chance!". Asked as to how the club will operate, the response was pretty clear: "self sustaining, drafting our own talent and developing them over the seasons to have a fully home grown first XI. The ultimate aim is to reach the Scottish Premiership and to win the Cup - you've got to aim big! Up the Fifers!".

Spiney has launched into a new forward looking plan, adding a second Frachise team to it's group.
The plan is to rebuild the first team Poloc for a second time, with the focus on bringing through young players.
Franchise team Lost Souls will contimue to house national team players.
Second franchise Wobbly Bits will grow as a strong team aimed at winning trophies within Pakistan.
Each of the clubs has a new logo and Spiney has promised future success to go with the World Cup and the two Scotland cups he has alread won.

It is a sad day as Breac Ogilby has retired from playing for Scotland.

He had a remarkable international career which is detailed in his entry in the club's Hall of Fame.

However, he will continue to play for the club and to mark his international retirement the Highland Hitman CG is being renamed "The Breac Ogilby Bowl".

When I first started playing the game, I said to myself that in the unlikely event of gaining promotopn to Div 1 in OD or won the cup I would probably leave the game at the end of the following season.

Well its taken a long time but I have achieved this by surprising winning a playoff against a team, I have hardly ever beat.

It has come to our attention that Hall of Fame, Honouree & Club Legend Kay Cleland finds himself on the brink of retirement following the announcement of Cramlington Showboaters' S62 administration crisis.

In our last press release, Kay was honoured in the naming of our new Lanarkshire stadium, following his move from Scotland, with a number of records, incl. Most Wickets which stands today at 343.

GM & Scout of KC, Samuel said, “We're broken to hear the news of our boy Kay, who boasts an incredible RFM arm and infectious happiness. He is retiring a HoF hero, always welcome home to his Clelandtoun Fortalice.

The club has unveiled major changes following stagnant results over the past 5 seasons despite historical team and player records, resulting in the release of high-capped, ageing, & prospect players in a crash market.

Critical ends ties with Kane and plans to relocate from Midlothian to Lanarkshire. Their new home Clelandtoun Fortalice is a tribute to OD Specialist 5416127, the club's first real academy success.

Kay (HoF Inductee 5.23), left the club on Sunday leaving fans and the board saddened. However his departure along with others, is seen as a step toward future success & competitiveness in Scotland.

The club expresses gratitude to record holders and departing players for their contributions. And acknowledges challenges ahead, remaining confident in Samuel's leadership.
